Before there was Asahra there was Sahara.

Welcome to our musical oasis, nestled discretely in an endless sea of dunes. Quench your thirst in its foutains. The water flows straight from the Virunga mountains of Congo. Merchants come here bringing echoes of the sea shores of Senegal or Capo Verde, even as far across the ocean as Trinidad. In this Sahara Oasis music lovers will hear stories of hope and struggle from the farthest reaches of the continent, from South Africa to Egypt. Dancing and celebrating our African roots is what the Sahara Collection is mostly about and yet surprising forays into frankly electronic realms shake things up from time to time. The experience remains cohesive and tasteful.
